Welcome to Angus Long Term Conditions Support Group (A.L.T.C.S.G.) website which is designed to give information and support to you, your carer or anyone you know with a condition that has a long term need for ongoing care.

Within the site we have provided up to date website links to various bodies including NHS Tayside, national condition specific charities and organisations, also other local voluntary condition specific groups, which all give advice on health and lifestyle improvements, practical advice on managing various conditions and the importance of healthy eating and exercise, which all help you to make the most of your life whilst self managing your long term condition.

Currently we have five self help support group’s who meet regularly in Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar and also now in Montrose at the end of the month, so if you have any type of long term condition or you care for some with a long term condition, check out our calendar to see the next meeting date , you are more than welcome to drop in for a social chat and a cuppa at our next meeting! If you are interested please contact us for more information.

The group’s have regular speakers on various subjects, as we feel that good information and communication is important in the self management of our conditions and the more we know what is available to us, the more we are able to cope with every day life.

During the group sessions we also have relaxation and seated exercise sessions so there’s maybe something you can take away and enjoy at your leisure which will help you manage a little better.
